The Institute has never condoned the dietary promulgations of the National Health & Medical Research Council, the National Heart Foundation, the Australian Diabetic Association or like-minded nutritionists and/or dieticians in regard to: The Balanced Diet That there is no need for supplementation of vitamins and minerals Heart Disease Diabetes The Recommended Dietary Allowances/Intake, Especially in regard to the true determinants of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Cancer, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Asthma and almost all killer diseases and chronic illness conditions. Most especially their fostering the consumption and/or use of margarine and/or polyunsaturated cooking oils and all bi-products of those substances. The Institute has always, and will consistently continue to foster the consumption in moderation of natural unprocessed foods, including dairy products such as milk, butter, cheese, grass fed beef and other meats but not including those meats that are in any way processed or supplement-fed. The Institute also fosters the consumption of all unprocessed sea food including all crustaceans, such as prawns, crab, lobster and all mollusks including oysters grown in unpolluted waters, but not "Farmed" fish or prawn which may be lacking in essential fatty acids.. The Institute also fosters the buying of Australian owned and produced products, especially those under the label of Dick Smith. The Institute warns consumers against buying or consuming sea foods and/or poultry originating in China or Vietnam. The Institute invites applications for its Nutritional Seal of approval from all interested parties except those products manufactured from and/or including white flour, sugar, white rice any other refined carbohydrate, hydogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, manufactured foods of any kind.
