The biological markers include: 1. Obesity 2. Blood type A It is well documented that obesity is now the number one biological marker for cancer. This is to do with hyperinsulinism and a diet too high in carbohydrates and of course a diversity of other nutritional factors including blood type. So get into the Insulin Zone and stay there. In his book, The Eat Right Diet, Dr Peter D'Adamo writes at length about the relationship between Blood type and the increased incidence of breast cancer in Blood Type A women. It is prudent to ask, " why the out of control escalation of almost all cancers over the past forty years or so?" It may be of interest to know that at the advent of what I like to call cholesterolmania, we were told to stop eating nutritious butter, milk and cream, stop eating meat and prawns and lobster and to eat lots of cereal grains, bread and pasta and most importantly of course to substitute margarine for butter and use only polyunsaturated oils for cooking. What they did not tell you and what *they never apologised for, for being wrong about, was that at that time there was substantial clinical evidence in animal studies to prove conclusively that polyunsaturated oils and spreads containing partially hydrogenated oils CAUSE Cancer.
They say that "what goes around, comes around". Emergent, irrefutable evidence demonstrates that Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a major preventive and therapeutic nutrient for Obesity; Heart Disease and Cancer. The major sources for CLA are grass (range) fed ruminants, especially kangaroo, beef, (heavily marbled),and veal, milk, cheese and butter, turkey, and chicken. Any further comment would be superfluous! Go to CLA
* National Health & Medical Research Council & National Heart Foundation. et al. Pasta consumption in Australia has increased dramatically both as Italian-style cuisine and Asian (noodle) cuisine. It is irrefutable that within the same time-frame most killer diseases and chronic illness conditions especially obesity and diabetes have increased proportionately. Two Italian medical studies in the mid 90's showed that overconsumption of pasta increased the incidence of both colon and breast cancer. Featured below are extracts and papers relative to this page:
Supplements and cancer therapy
Drs. Hoffer and Pauling found that cancer patients who supplemented with large doses of vitamins A, C, and E as well as niacin and other vitamins and minerals while undergoing conventional treatments lived far longer than patients not taking supplements. Eating a macrobiotic diet has been found highly effective in increasing survival among patients with cancer of the prostate and pancreas. Supplementation can also decrease the risk of tumor recurrence. A recent experiment involving bladder cancer patients showed that those who took extra daily supplements (40,000 IU vitamin A, 100 mg vitamin B6, 2000 mg vitamin C, 400 IU vitamin E and 90 mg zinc) reduced their risk of recurrence by a factor of two. Dr. Simone concludes that vitamin and mineral supplementation does not interfere with the efficacy of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but actually, in many cases, increases survival of the patients. He recommends that supplements be taken 30-60 minutes before therapy.

So far the "war on cancer" initiated by President Nixon in 1971 has had a fairly
limited success. In 1971 a total of 635,000 new cases of cancer was diagnosed in
the USA; by the year 2000 this number had risen to 1,225,000 – an increase of 93
per cent. The number of new cases of breast cancer has increased by about 61 per
cent since 1973 and now stands at 184,000 annually. A 1991 report issued by the
US Government Accounting Office concluded that there had been no progress in the
prevention of breast cancer or in reducing mortality from breast cancer. There exists on our files a wealth of evidence complimenting the above with specific protocols for Chemo Support and cancer Prevention
